Weekly Saturday (9-12) Farm Stand in

1902 Bergstrom Barn

Green Gate Farms has been cultivating food, flowers and farmers since 2005 at this historic east Austin farmstead (originally built by the Bergstrom family in 1902). We invite you to come enjoy the farm and see how it is now part of the Village Farm neighborhood of tiny homes - a rare combination of old and new, farming and housing.

Location: Our east Austin farm is located at the historic 1902 Bergstrom farmstead, now Village Farm Tiny Home neighborhood, 8310 Canoga Ave, Austin 78724. Plenty of free parking in front of Big Red Barn. Our new farm stand has not yet been built so you’ll find us inside the Big Red Barn. Call 512-949-9830, if extra help needed.

Please, no pets on the farm: Please leave your pooch at home as they scare our ducks/geese.

Children welcome to play around our Magic Treehouse. Feel free to walk around fields, not in them.

Eggs: from Coyote Creek’s Organic Feed Mill and The Refugee Collective
Veggies: grown by us and the farmers we are training at Lowlands Farm and Mud Nap Farm as well as supplemented by other organic farms like The Refugee Collective and Farmshare Austin, as needed.

Resumes in the Fall —Yoga on the Farm most Saturdays, 12:30-1:30. Class held in hayloft or field. Please bring a mat and a $10-$20 donation for the instructor, if you can. (Contact Blue Zone Lisa at lapfelbe@yahoo.com for more info.)
