5:00pm to 11:30pm
Suggested donation to benefit New Farm Institute: $15

Da dada da, da dada da. Ba-Bang! That’s right folks, for the next farm benefit we are staging a shotgun wedding! We’ll have lots of live music, beer and cider from Split Rail Ales, a big ol’ Southern style community potluck, and… a full-on shotgun wedding procession. Everyone is strongly encouraged to “dress up” and attend.

We got fences to build, a barn to finish, and irrigation in the works so please show your support by joining us out at Green Gate Farms on Saturday, March 3rd for what will prove to be a rowdy ol’ time.

There will be a suggested donation of $15, and all proceeds will go to farming infrastructure development and the New Farm Institute.

Please RSVP on Facebook to help us better plan, prepare, and ultimately provide one hell of a good time.

  • Split Rail Ales has brewed a Belgian Saison, a Honey Cream Ale, and a hard apple cider infused with Meyer lemon zest and finished with Round Rock honey.
  • Shotgun wedding costume party presided over by Farmer Skip and filmed by Farmer Evan.
  • Live music featuring Auroravore, Shakey Graves, the amazing Angus, Nick Wong, and Musically Declined.
  • Community potluck with southern motif for which the event staff will be contributing homemade corn bread, mac and cheese, slow roasted pulled guinea hog and boar with southern BBQ sauce, collards, and other culinary fineries.
