4 cups shredded red cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrot
4 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large tart apple, peeled and finely chopped
salt and pepper

Toss all ingredients together except the salt and pepper.
Chill 30 minutes, season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
