Here, you’ll see that sustainability is at the heart of our farm. In addition to the historic barn built in 1902, our new farm stand was cobbled together using recycled materials provided by Austin Materials Marketplace. Being in a “food desert,” our Farm Stand is one of the few providers of certified organic food for our neighborhood.
Our Farm Stand features certified organic vegetables, honey, meats and eggs. We offer plant starts, baked goods, lard, soaps and value-added products seasonally.
We encourage you to direct your grocery dollars to farmers. You can now join our CSA using SNAP! Vote with your fork to keep local farms in business. Shop where your food is grown!
HOURS: Saturdays 10am-2pm yearround; Tuesdays, 3-6 and Fridays, 10-2 (March-December)
During the winter season when fields are less productive, our Farm Stand offerings are minimal: vegetables, eggs, meats and some flowers. In the spring, you’ll find a growing bounty as well as soaps, baked goods and more. If you visit the Farm Stand and do not see anyone, we may be in the barn, fields or office. Just call our office (512.484.2746) and someone will come help you! We will always find food for our Lone Star Card customers and for special orders placed ahead of time.
LOCATION: We recently switched from our old farm stand set up in the Farm Rover to our new one built from recycled materials by The ReUse People of America. Come check it out! Located at 8310 Canoga Avenue, Austin, 78724 (8 miles east of downtown Austin, near Decker Lane and E. MLK/183)
