1 Pie pan lined with pie dough
1 Cup Finely diced broccoli
2 Green onions (tops of purplettes)
1 Cup Cheddar or Gruyere Cheese, shredded
1 Tbs flour
3 Eggs, lightly beaten
1 Cup Half-and-half, Heavy cream or Milk
2 Tbs Basil pesto
1/4 teasp salt
1/8 teasp pepper
1/8 teasp garlic powder (or 1 clove chopped garlic)

Prick bottom and sides of crust and line with foil. Bake 8 min at 425F, remove foil and bake another 8 min. Remove crust from oven and reduce to 325F. Toss broccoli, green onions, cheese and flour in a bowl. Spread mixture over the bottom of the crust. Whisk remaining ingredients of eggs, cream or milk, basil pesto, salt pepper and garlic (powder) in the bowl. Pour filling into crust. Bake until knife inserted near center comes out clean, about 35-40 min. Let sit 10-15 min before serving. Makes 6 servings.
