Urban Farm

Green Gate Farms is located in Austin’s historic greenbelt, on the east side of town near Farmer to Market Road (FM) 969 (MLK). Unless otherwise noted, all events take place at our Urban Farm.

This is our primary location, with five acres of production, Farm Stand, and a CSA pick up location on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. From Decker Lane, you can see our red barn and yellow 1902 farmhouse. Our farm site was created by the Bergstrom family, who were part of the Swedish migration to Austin in the 1880s (Austin’s airport is named for this family).

River Farm

From Austin, our River Farm is a pretty, meandering 18 minute drive east of Canoga Ave farm. From Austin, drive east on FM 969, past Webberville to Utley. Take right on Howard Lane.

From Bastrop, go west to Utley on FM 969, take left onto Howard Lane. Follow signs.
