Saturday Farm Tours
Every Saturday at noon, a farmer takes guests on an in-depth hands-on, tasting tour of our certified organic farm.
Come explore the historic barn built in 1902 by the Bergstroms and be guided through our farm stand and CSA area that serves neighbors of all incomes. You’ll also visit the children’s garden with Magic Treehouse (perfect for well-behaved children), and meet rare breed animals, such a Guinea Hogs, Barbadoe sheep, chickens, goats and ducks. This unforgettable tour engages people of all ages.
The tour fee is just $10 per person (free for current CSA members and children ages 10 and younger).*
Pony Cart Rides
Our pony loves to pull our shiny red cart. When she’s not grazing at our River Farm, she’d love to take you for a ride at our intown farm. Farmer Skip (or daughter Avery) can take you and a friend on an exhilarating ride in the surrounding fields and neighborhoods. Just $10. This makes a great gift! (Please call to arrange, 484-2746.)
Fridays at the Farm
“Fridays at the Farm,” beginning at 10 a.m, was created to provide a morning outing for families with small children. This is an opportunity to enjoy the farm at no cost, picnic in Children’s Garden, play in Magic Treehouse and relax.
Though farmers are busy setting up the farm stand on Friday mornings, we are happy to meet with you when our farm stand opens to the public from 12-6. In the meantime, you are encouraged to explore, use our quilts for a picnic under the oak tree. (Please check in at the barn to sign our guestbook and review farm rules.)
