Be A Great CSA Member
Spread the news – we have a SNAP CSA!
SNAP users can now purchase a Green Gate Vegetable CSA using their SNAP EBT Card – and thanks to the Sustainable Food Center’s Double Dollar Program – the cost is halved (get 8 weeks of a CSA for the cost of 4 weeks using SNAP)! SNAP users can sign up to join our SNAP CSA at our Farm Stand on Friday and Saturdays!
Learn more about our farm and education center.
Come out for a Farm Tour on Saturdays and see the fields, the greenhouse, our Farm Stand and our CSA operations. Get to know your farmers and staff here at the farm, and share some of yourself as well. We love meeting and getting to know our CSA members!
Visit in.gredients for special discounts and sales!
Here’s yet another reason to be a Green Gate Farms CSA member — you get love at our favorite neighborhood store, in.gredients. This one-of-a-kind corner store on Manor Road serves as a pick-up site for our CSA shares and is all about sustainability and supporting local farmers. That’s why they’re providing you — our loyal CSA members — with an in.gredients Customer Account filled with special discounts and extra sales. So, next time you pick up your share (brought to you by our extraordinary Community Organizer Nikkie Shubitz), be sure to shop and thank in.gredients for the perks.

Please make sure you stay current on your membership fees and your weekly/monthly payments.
Your CSA membership is a financial commitment, and your financial support is what allows us to keep doing what we love – serving healthy food to our community. If you’re ever unable to make a payment on time, just pickup the phone and call us before your pickup day.
Learn the rules for the pickup site and stick to them.
This helps everyone involved with the farm– the other members, the Community Organizers, the farmers and our administrative staff. If there is something you don’t understand, please ask. Introduce yourself to your Community Organizer and get to know them. If someone else is picking up your share, make sure they also understand the expectations. We have a very small staff and rely on our members to help keep things running smoothly!
Read your weekly newsletter.
The newsletter is our primary means of communicating with our members, and this is the best way to stay current on what’s happening here at the farm. If there’s ever anything you would like to know more about each week, let us know and we’re happy to include it!
If you’re not happy with your weekly share, please let us know.
Quality control is an important part of every farmer’s job, and you can help. Please pickup the phone and call us or email us if you’re ever dissatisfied with your weekly share and we’ll do our best to resolve the problem.
Got questions? Ask ’em!
Seriously, we love questions. There’s no question too big or too small.
We value your feedback.
Let us know how we’re doing! Your feedback provides us with valuable information and suggestions about what we can do to create a better experience for you at Green Gate Farms. Be on the look out for our member survey which is sent out at the end of each season.
Get more involved.
There are many opportunities here at the farm to get involved. We always have lots of tasks (both indoor and outdoor) we need help with. Let us know if you have a special skill to share. We can use help with everything from hand weeding and caring for livestock, to helping at our market and promoting the farm.
Meet other members
I’m fairly certain every farmer says this, but we really do have the best CSA members! Join us for our CSA potlucks and get to know your neighbors!
Recruit more members.
If you’re happy with your experience, please be sure to let others know about it. Keep a stack of our flyers on your desk at work for your co-workers, or keep some on the kitchen table for visiting friends. That way we can focus on what we do best, growing your food.
